Pale lemon with clean clear rim.
Super aromatic and inviting! Refreshingly clean aromas of gooseberry, lemon zest and grapefruit pith jump from the glass. A little bit of white stone fruit shows through. Mineral notes of crushed wet flint and fresh cut grass are present.
Sauvignon Blanc from France typically produces fresh, aromatic wines with floral and citrus notes ending with hints of minerality. Balanced mouthfeel filled with zippy acidity and fresh citrus and gooseberry flavours are upfront and not shy! Lemon, lime, grapefruit zest dance on the palate like fireworks! A herbaceous-ness is there but not overwhelming. The wet slate balances out the finish which is medium in length.
Food Pairing: Perfect for hot summer nights with goat cheese and olive tapenade canapés. Chicken or a lightly poached fish salad are also home runs.
