Estación, which is Spanish for 'station', is a nod to the Colchagua Station on the Colchagua train route in Chile. The station is now a historical landmark and borders the property of the Estación vineyards. The railroad line was founded by American William Wheelwright, in 1851 and connected the north and south of Chile. The were east to west lines built, called "ramales" (or branches in Spanish) which connected to the main line. The Colchagua route was built over more than 50 years and was completed in 1890.

Bordered by the Andes and the Coastal mountains, the Colchauga Valley lies among these two ranges. Divided into four main areas, the newest vineyards of Estación are planted with everything from Sauvignon Blanc to Petit Verdort. This location has excellent sun exposure and cooling sea breezes, making it an ideal growing site. Additionally, located 10km from the ocean lies another vineyard that is planted with the majority of the Sauvignon Blanc grapes. With a vibrant acidity, this wine is primed to drink right now!

Pale golden yellow, clear and bright.

Familiar notes bright of gooseberry, sweet grass, and lime zest. Subtle vegetal green notes, squash and oats aromas are also present. Overall presents bright and fresh.

The taste presents more citrus notes on the palate, as lemon, lime and grapefruit. With a medium acidity it will leave your mouth watering with a nice rounded mouthfeel. Flavours of warm candied ginger, stewed peaches and green undertones linger with a smooth finish. Bright, fresh and well balanced flavours make for a great sipper on the patio.

With bright and mouth watering flavours, this wine has us craving ceviche or a white flaky fish dish. Sauteed green veggies with a bit of fat will also pair deliciously with the medium acidity.
