Originally built in the early 1900's, the estate of Bodega La Soñada is one of the Mendoza region's centennial wineries. Purchased and restored in the 2000's by the current owners, the Barale family, Finca Martha wines are harvested from their centuries-old vineyard. With national recognition in Argentina, and growing into the international market, Finca Martha remains knowledgeable and respectful of the Mendoza region and the history of the land. Each wine is crafted to reflect the unique and authentic flavour of San Rafael, by a team lead by Argentinian winemaker Maria Munoz - whose passion for the wine industry began at a young age with her father and uncle.

While Argentina and the Mendoza region are primarily known for amazing Malbecs, don’t disregard the Cab Sauvs as a fruit-forward alternative! With a great balance of richness and fruit, Finca Martha’s Cab is the perfect addition to your most memorable moments. Enjoy now or within the next few years at 14 – 16 C.


Deep purple with bright red hues throughout, rich and very consistent with a slightly lighter rim.


Smokey on the nose at first, with very slight rubbery notes. Dark cherries, wild, dark fruits, tobacco and black currant follow the initial aromas, with a hint of spice and warm chocolate. When swirled, fresh cherries and cranberries jump out and invite you to take another sniff.


A balance of red fruits, gracefully complemented by darker-berried fruits and subtle savoury herbs. Structured and interesting, with grippy tannins, medium acidity and flavours that linger on your tongue for quite a while. Fresh cranberries, plum and some green earthiness are accented by pops of spice formed by notes of cracked black pepper. Finishes with rustic flavours and aromas of smoke, bark, cedar chips and driftwood.


Spicy stews with gamey meats, or slightly matured and smokey cheeses play to the rustic tones. Strawberries with black pepper and a balsamic Aceto reduction for something new.
