Irrefutably, Argentina produces some of the world's most iconic wines. This Pinot Noir is one of them. Masterfully crafted from Bodega Chacra, situated in Argentina's southernmost wine region, the remote paradise of Patagonia. Far away from the rest of the world, its creator has been able to develop a wine in a pure expression of it's incredible terroir. The cool and dry climate lends itself to the delicate and perfect balance needed to create an exceptional Pinot Noir.
The winery here is still young, having only been founded in 2003, but the winemaking heritage of its creator is one of longstanding notoriety. Piero Incisa della Rocchetta carried the genius and craftsmanship of his grandfather from Italy to Patagonia to create this divine expression of Pinot Noir, and expand the immeasurable appreciation that we have for both their craft and Argentinian wine. This wine is ready to delight, but we think it will get even better with some time tucked away. It can cellar well for up to 10 years. When you are ready, take the time to let it breathe and serve at slightly cooler than room temperature 16-17 C.
