We couldn't be more excited about the return of this rosé! Domaine of the Bee is a longtime WineCollective favourite, and we were only able to secure a few cases of their fantastic rosé, so we won't blame you if you don't share! This rosé has a bit more oomph than the French Provencal rosés, and we promise it won't disappoint.

The blend is Grenache, Grenache Gris and Syrah that is sourced from vineyards owned by Jean-Marc Lafage (of Chateau St Roch and Domaine Lafage fame). Domaine of the Bee's Justin Howard-Sneyd is able to work with a small amount of Jean-Marc's exceptional fruit every year to produce a tiny amount of this outstanding rosé. Enjoy today or cellar up to a year, and serve at 10 C.

Greeted by a bushel of red fruits, the playfulness is certainly present. Peppered watermelon and grilled strawberries waft out of the glass. Raspberry leaf and mild herbs are found in the background. The aromas are tart not cloying, making us excited to taste!

Like those tart aromas we found on the nose, the layers of red fruits are deep and bone dry! Grilled strawberries with cream flavours give an almost creamy texture to the palate. Bing cherries, ripe raspberries and red currants bright and fresh. The tannins are present from the Syrah, adding grip to the rounder mouthfeel. Our gums are tingly from the acidity, which also keeps the fruit in check. The weightiness of the palate is calling for a cool end of summer night.

We are craving cedar planked salmon with garden fresh green beans and a creamy dills sauce! A watermelon salad with goat cheese would also work incredibly well.
