This wine has generous aromas of black cherry, black plum, blackberry, cassis, leather, and smoke, joined together with mint, eucalyptus, dried herbs, toasty oak, and tobacco on the nose.

This Cabernet has a supple and fresh palate. It is full-bodied, with a bit of acidity, along with some velvety, supple tannins. This is a fruit-forward Cab with juicy flavours of black cherry, plums, bell pepper, spice, mint and graphite. This red has a nice structure and a clean and pleasant finish. This wine is pure, hedonistic pleasure in a glass.

A bold Cabernet Sauvignon like this one, pairs best with heartier dishes like a juicy, medium rare burger or stuffed portobello mushrooms.

Aromas and Flavours

A little sweet, a little tart, this black fruit is rather quiet but persistent.

Black Currant

Sometimes also referred to as 'cassis', this black fruit tasting note is common in red wines.

Spreading grandma's homemade jam on your morning toast (yes, the bread was homemade too).

A touch of sweet and cooling herbal flavours, think gum, but without the intense menthol

A whiff of a freshly used pepper grinder - spicy and fresh, without the itchy nose.

Handling and Serving

Serving Temperature

2021 - 2025

The Casablanca Valley, located about an hour away from Santiago, is considered to be one of the great cool climate regions. The climate is very much a maritime influenced one, being located 30 kilometres from the Pacific, with cool weather and consistently foggy mornings. The significant temperature shifts between daytime and night time allow for a lengthier ripening period that results in a fantastic balance between acidity and sugar levels.

Sustainability is not just a buzzword at this winery. They protect their workers and the environment in their practices. They are known for their responsible water, vineyard, and waste management, and for their biodiversity.

Cabernet Sauvignon is the most widely-planted grape in Chile, accounting for a third of all grapes planted. Chile is considered to be the pioneer in environmentally-friendly winemaking and the country is blessed with the geography and the climate to produce some of the best Cabs in the world.

Enjoy this wine at 18 C, from now until 2025.
