This classic Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir has a medium intensity on the nose, and it displays complex and lovely aromas of cranberry, red currant, raspberry jam, violets, and dried leaves. It's elegant and layered, evolving in the glass with air.

Exploding with bright red-fruit flavours, featuring crunchy cherry, tart raspberry, and fresh red currants. It's medium-bodied on the palate, with a focused intensity and lifted, energetic acidity. The finish is long and complex, with flavours of cocoa powder, cola, and cinnamon.

Pull out all the stops and pair this Pinot with duck confit or a crown roast of pork to highlight the earthier side of this wine.

Aromas and Flavours

Fresh B.C. cherries out of the back of a truck, all eaten before you can get them home!

Tangy or sweet, juicy or tart: more sophisticated than a strawberry, but just as lush.

Black Currant

Sometimes also referred to as 'cassis', this black fruit tasting note is common in red wines.

Spreading grandma's homemade jam on your morning toast (yes, the bread was homemade too).

Cedar / Oak

An intriguing mix of clove, sandalwood and resin - the smell of your favourite wooded trail.

2022 - 2026

We're longtime Sean Minor fans at WineCollective, and have featured his delicious '4B' Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir in the past. His critically-acclaimed Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is a special treat, so we couldn't resist the opportunity to share! Sean's upbringing in the Midwest taught him agriculture and the value of hard work. Caring for the land and bringing the harvest to the dinner table has always been close to Sean’s heart, and winemaking fully celebrates this concept. After starting his winemaking career in California, he was recruited by a top winery in the Pacific Northwest, where he and his family moved to manage the estate. They were later lured back to the sun-filled California coast, where Sean grew his winemaking expertise. After identifying a gap in the market, namely that consumers were longing for wines that were easy to enjoy, were true to terroir, and didn’t break the bank, they founded Sean Minor Wines in 2005.

Since then, their family has grown and their business has evolved, but their dedication to producing quality wines at a fair price has remained. This wine should be served at about 16 C and can be enjoyed over the next 3-4 years.
