With most of the grapes being sourced from Los Carneros, an AVA that straddles both Napa and Sonoma giving you the best of both worlds in terms of quality and finesse. Early 20th century motorcycles had gearboxes often referred to as a "jockey shifter". Riders had to take their hand off the handlebar in a risky maneuver to switch gears. This was a unique technique that required skill and is reminiscent of the way these wines are made. The winemaker uses unique techniques combined with skill to craft the perfect wine.
