The winery named Edetàrìa after the old Roman village and trails that surround its vineyards is situated in the heart of Terra Alta, Spain. Joan Àngel Lliberia decided to go back to his roots and follow in his fathers footsteps to take over the family vineyard after studying agricultural engineering and working for several multinational corporations. Making organic and vegan wines dedicated to the terroir, the vineyards are planted with only indigenous grape varieties from old bush vines that have been growing in the area for many years.Edetarìa produces authentic wines with a true expression of soil, climate and terroir and uses minimal intervention in the vineyard. The winery is also firmly committed to respect nature and uses sustainable farming practices in their vineyards. Their entry-level wines offer great value as the fruit comes entirely from the estate and only 5,000 cases are made, making it a rare gem. Via Terra is made from 100% Garnacha Peluda, a unique form of Grenache native to Spain and is fermented in its own native yeast. Enjoy now or in five years from now at a temperature of 18 ºC.
