Casaretti Bardolino Classico

Casaretti is dedicated to the traditional grapes that have been grown in the region of Bardolino for centuries. Nestled in the hills overlooking Lake Garda, close to the city of Verona, these Italian vineyards are picturesque. The winery was started in 1911 by grandfather Agostino who passed the vineyards down to his son Lorenzo. It is now run by the two grandsons Giammaria and Stefano, who keep their grandfather’s traditions alive today. With the perfect Mediterranean climate and glacial soils (clay, silt, sand and gravel) that show a lot of diversity, Cassaretti is able to make wines of great character that are easy to drink. Made from traditional Amarone grapes: Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara, done in a more fruit-forward modern style, this wine is both a time-honoured tradition and made with a fun flair of modern winemaking techniques.
