Smell
This wine opens with tropical and citrus notes of lychee, hibiscus flower, cherry blossom, lime, lemongrass and bamboo. Reminding you of walking through the park when everything is in full bloom.
Taste
A perfect balance of tropical fruit and refreshing acidity with notes of coconut, pineapple, passionfruit, guava and grapefruit with a hint of lime zest, characterized by a long elegant finish. Perfect for sipping on the patio on a hot summer’s day.

Description
Sandy and Erin Robertson cherished a lifelong dream to build a life, family and business that they love, which came true in 2017. Part of that dream pays homage to how the winery was named where Dogwood & Thistle refers to dogwood, the state flower of Virginia where Erin was born and raised, and the thistle, the flower of Scotland where Sandy is from, the name brought life to their new adventure. Husband Sandy is at the helm of the winemaking, bringing his years of vineyard expertise into his own project, and wife Erin is head of sales and marketing. Their skills and passion have helped them breathe life into these wines. In their first year of production in 2017 the winery only released 210 cases of wine into the market. Although they are slowly growing their operation, these wines are still produced in small batches and are a rare find. The latest vintage of the Mendocino County Sauvignon Blanc made only 600 cases. Enjoy now or in 3 years from now at a temperature of 8 ºC.
