Intense earthy aromatics like a freshly paved road or sitting on the patio after fresh summer rainfall. Perfumed notes of gardenia, fresh hay and bergamot linger in the air with hints of vanilla, clove and black pepper.
Taste
Bold tannin, structure, and minerality are the driving force behind this wine. Full-bodied with jammy notes of cherry, black currant, raspberry, saskatoon berry and sour haskap berry lead into a backbone of minerality with notes of graphite and a savoury mushroom and black truffle-like earthy quality on the finish.
Pairing
Pair with carne asada, pork tacos, Manchego cheese, tamales or carbonada (vegetable stew served in a pumpkin bowl).

Description
Situated on 150 acres at 3200 feet above sea level, these vineyards at the foot of the Andes mountain range are home to many classic grape varieties. Originally from Kansas, DeWayne Bridges and his wife Linda discovered the beauty of the Uco Valley after climbing Mount Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Southern Hemisphere, seeing its beauty from above. This beauty, the culture and their love for Argentinian wines made them want to call Argentina home, and with the purchase of the vineyard site in 2010, their dream came to life. The Bridges family are avid hikers and love the trails surrounding their home. They can regularly be spotted hiking around their vineyard sites and leading groups of tourists to discover the beauty that brought them to the region. The grapes for this Malbec come entirely from the estate and are sourced from one of their top vineyard sites in the heart of the Uco Valley. Drink now or in 3 years from now at a temperature of 18°C.
