Named 2019 Young Winemaker of the Year by Master of Wine Tim Atkin, Mauricio Vegetti Lui is gaining international recognition as a young winemaker. He has also been nominated twice for the top winemaker under 40 award of Decanter magazine. Mauricio combines innovative winemaking techniques with a dedication to environmentally-friendly practices. Mauricio says, “each wine is a work of art that is a reflection of the terroir that the grapes are grown on.” He works with the best grape growers across the Mendoza province in Argentina to find top-quality grapes for his wines, ensuring quality and consistency. This Cabernet Sauvignon is made from grapes from one of the best single vineyard sites in the region. Mauricio then takes these grapes and allows them to age for ten months in a combination of 60% French oak and 40% American oak, then another six months in bottle before release.
