Smell
Wildly herbaceous, this unique Cabernet Sauvignon from Argentina has aromatics of green peppercorn, fennel and dill that are complemented by black fruits and a hint of eucalyptus that lingers in the air.
Taste
Charm and balance are the signature of this Cabernet Sauvignon with fresh black fruit notes of blackberry, wild raspberry and blueberry. Flavours of sweet tobacco, dark chocolate and vanilla are well-integrated from oak-aging with just a hint of baking spice on the palate. Wonderfully unique and complex, but sure to delight.
Pairing
Pair with Parmesan-crusted beef in chimichurri sauce, provoleta (fried cheese), empanadas or grilled chorizo sausage.

Description
Named 2019 Young Winemaker of the Year by Master of Wine Tim Atkin, Mauricio Vegetti Lui is gaining international recognition as a young winemaker. He has also been nominated twice for the top winemaker under 40 award of Decanter magazine. Mauricio combines innovative winemaking techniques with a dedication to environmentally-friendly practices. Mauricio says, “each wine is a work of art that is a reflection of the terroir that the grapes are grown on.” He works with the best grape growers across the Mendoza province in Argentina to find top-quality grapes for his wines, ensuring quality and consistency. This Cabernet Sauvignon is made from grapes from one of the best single vineyard sites in the region. Mauricio then takes these grapes and allows them to age for ten months in a combination of 60% French oak and 40% American oak, then another six months in bottle before release. Drink now or in 5 years from now at 18°C.
