Sand Point Sauvignon Blanc is from a collection of single-variety wines from LangeTwins, named after twin brothers Brad and Randall Lange. The Lange name has deep roots in Lodi wine-making; Brad and Randall are the fourth generation of grapegrowers. Joined now by the 5th generation of the family, the LangeTwins commitment to sustainability and high-quality wines continues unabated.
The Sand Point label was born out of an environmental restoration project focused on a seven acre parcel of land along the Mokelumne river, near the family ranch. After nurturing mature oak trees, planting the land with native bush and grass species, and restoring habitat for nesting wood ducks, the family realized that their vineyards could exist side by side in harmony with the region's original natural landscape. The Sand Point wines are all Certified Green under the strict standards set forth by the Lodi Rules for Sustainable Winegrowing. Enjoy this vibrant Sauvignon Blanc at 6 C over the next year or two.
