Bursting with ripe orchard fruit and tropical aromas, Le Cazelou opens with notes of ripe yellow apple, meyer lemon, and pear, along with hints of pineapple and grapefruit. There's a stoney minerality that lingers on the fringes, along with an appealing floral note.

Fresh and energetic on the palate, this light-bodied white offers plenty of citrusy acidity to balance the ripe tropical fruit flavours. The finish is dry and bright, inviting another sip.

Le Cazelou's wines are named in tribute to the small stone huts that were built in vineyards to offer shelter from the elements for vineyard workers. Made by innovative winemakers Yvan & Co, Le Cazelou, like all their projects, is focused on environmental sustainability in all their practices. From the sourcing of lighter bottles to reduce the impact of shipping, to using labels that are 100% natural and biodegradable, Le Cazelou's releases are meant to be wines that you can feel good about drinking!
The Sauvignon Blanc grapes for this particular wine are sourced from vineyards in the Pays d'Oc in southern France. Here, vineyards enjoy a warmer, more mediterranean climate than in northern France, so Sauvignon Blanc grapes achieve a greater level of ripeness and develop richer tropical fruit flavours. Enjoy this balanced example at 8 C over the next 2-3 years.
