Winemaker Richie Roberts was raised in Niagara. Richie focuses on creating the best expression of a vintage that he can, extrapolating the unique characteristics of the Beamsville Bench terroir. Sometimes, the result is completely unexpected, yet, in typical Fielding fashion, extraordinary. In 2013, Richie was honoured as a business leader in Niagara as part of the Business Link's Top 40 under 40 for his innovation within the winemaking industry. “Alluring aromas of orange blossom, citrus and melon abound, presaging a glorious palate-bathing wash of spice-infused mango yoghurt and tropical fruit salad moderated by a lovely hit of tangy lemon curd. It’s medium-full bodied with satiny smooth mouth feel, balanced and beautiful. It finishes lengthy and looking for dance partners—pour with lightly spiced Asian dishes, a deli platter or puff-pastry onion tart.” ~ Vic Harradine, Wine Writer
