Profile

Description

Intense straw yellow core with overlapping notes of elderflower, white peaches and banana. 100% Stainless steel fermentation with no oak treatment yields a very forward style. Chardonnay is making a significant name for itself in Piedmont. A varietal originally grown in Burgundy and the Champagne region of France that provide the benchmark examples of what this grape is capable of producing. Chardonnay from Piedmont typically showcases a higher acidity and distinctive mineral edge. Italian Chardonnays are typically lighter in style with more refreshing vivacious fruit on the palate.

Pairing

Freshly steamed mussels, delicate Parma crudo with ripe melon, and elegantly chilled veal dishes.
