Profile

Description

The Bindi Sergardi Estate encompasses three properties all in the heart of Tuscany: Moscenni Estate, I Colli Estate, and the Marcianella Estate. The Sergardi family has roots in wine history as their forefather helped create the Chianti Classico Consortium back in the 1400's. Alessandra Sergardi took over in 2005 to run the winery with her father. Spanning over 1000 hectares in the ancient areas of Siena and Chianti Classico. The Marcianella Estate itself has viticultural roots that go back to the Etruscan Age. The estate name itself even pays homage to one of their ancestors who was a mayor of Oriveto-Bindo Bindi. Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano is one of Italy's most famous and most important DOCGs of distinction wines that have helped Italy carve a place for itself on the international stage. This Vino Nobile comes from vines that average 20 years in age and have been fermented in stainless steel vats and have undergone malolactic fermentation and additional aging in 50L barrels for 18 months for additional complexity The result is a sensuous Sangiovese that will only improve over time.
