Description
An Argentinian winery that has a very distinctive Italian feel. Built by Patricio Reich, the winery prides itself on creating some of the very best wines in South America. Located in Perdriel, a unique zone in Mendoza that is considered the best terroir for Malbec. Alberto Antonini, the esteemed Italian winemaker, collaborated on the project with Patricio, and they also have the expertise of Hector Durigutti, who has the utmost knowledge of Malbec and Argentinian terroirs. The winery itself is quite impressive, boasting a medieval tower and state-of-the-art equipment. The vineyards are extremely old, most are well over 50 years of age. These vines produce very low yields, but the fruit is very concentrated in flavour. Renacer also purchases grapes from local growers that showcase other unique terroirs around Mendoza-Uco Valley, Luján de Cuyo, and Medrano. Milamore is a very unique wine. This wine's history began with Marisa Allegrini, (from the famed property Allegrini in Italy) visiting Patricio's property, became so enamored with Mendoza, she decided to produce an Amarone style here. This wine takes inspiration from one of Italy's most famous wines-Amarone. This Bordeaux-style blend is made "appassimento" method, which is a very ancient technique in which the grape bunches are essentially dried out on straw mats and then fermented. The resulting wines are rich, concentrated, and full of fruit-driven complexity with the capability of ageing in the cellar. Rich and expansive on the palate, this wine shows fruits that center on blackberries, figs, and ripe black cherries. There is something reminiscent on the palate of licorice and field olives. Showy tannins are well integrated in this wine and it finishes with a spicy character.

A little sweet, a little tart, this black fruit is rather quiet but persistent.

Childhood memories of fighting over the black Jujubes, or avoiding them altogether...

Warm, sensuous, exotic, fragrant, aromatic-like the first whiff of clove.
