Description
White Bordeaux, usually a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, is one of the wine world's under-the-radar gems, and this example from Château Pilet is a great introduction to the style. This estate covers 65 hectares right in the heart of the commune of Donzac which is located in Entre Deux Mers, a region that sits between the two rivers, the Dorgogne and the Gironde. The name literally translates as "between two seas". Family owned and operated for more than 100 years.
