Lunadoro farms 12 hectares in the heart of Montepulciano (not to be confused with the grape by the same name), and their Rosso is made from a traditional blend of Sangiovese and Merlot.
Pairing
Tuscany's famous Bistecca Alla Fiorentina, a charcoal-grilled porterhouse steak, would be a great match for this robust red.
Aromas and Flavours
Plum
Sweet, fruity and sensual, similar stone fruit aromas to a peach, but without the 'fuzziness'.
Blackberry
A little sweet, a little tart, this black fruit is rather quiet but persistent.
